Qianping Ran, professor and doctoral supervisor of Southeast University, receives the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the leading talent of scientific and technological innovation of National Ten Thousand Talents Program, and the expert enjoying the special government allowance of the State Council. Based on the interdisciplinary intersection of chemistry, materials, and architecture, he has carried out research on advanced engineering functional materials, and has presided over or participated in the completion of more than 20 projects, including the National Outstanding Young Scholars, the National Key R&D Program, and the 973 Program, published more than 200 research papers, and obtained more than 80 invention patents as the first inventor. He won the Second Prize of National Technological Invention Award (ranked 2nd), the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award (ranked 3rd), 5 First Prizes of the Ministerial and Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards (ranked 1st, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 5th), 1 China Patent Silver Award and 4 Patent Excellence Awards.
