德国耶拿大学MarkusRettenmayr教授学术报告通知

Prof. Markus Rettenmayr is a University Professor of Friedrich Schiller University Jena in the federal state of Thüringen, Germany. In 1991, he earned the PhD degree at Stuttgart University. During the period of 1992-2002, he worked as post doctoralor research associate in Max-Planck-Institute for Metals Research in Stuttgart(Germany), Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York (USA), and TU Darmstadt(Germany). Prof. Markus Rettenmayr earned the professorship for Metallic Materials at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. Since 2003 he is the director of Otto Schott Institute of Materials Research, Friedrich Schiller University Jena. Prof. Markus Rettenmayr is the editor of ‘Journal of Crystal Growth’. His research fields are directional solidification, mushy zone dynamics, inter diffusion, function materials, biomaterials, etc. He has published and co-authored more than 170 publications in peer reviewed journals.
