长期从事高分子化学合成、高分子自组装理论与应用研究，在Polym. Chem., Chem. Eng. J., Compos. Part B, ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces等知名期刊共发表40余篇SCI 论文,其中第一/通讯作者20余篇，发表论文累计被引2000余次；已授权5项美国、日本等境外专利； 担任Adv. Funct. Mater. , JMST, Constr. Build. Mater., Small等知名期刊审稿人40余次；参编Springer出版英文专著1部；每年招收硕士生2-3名，欢迎高分子、化学，土木工程材料背景学生报考（纳入冉千平教授课题组统一管理，详见网站）。
